3 Mumus
I received an update from Liaison Paris (Jamie Khoo) via mms today:
Rinpoche,
I’d like to share a cute pic of 3 mumus who were rescued under the kechara banner – gonkar, jamyang and george (biscuit)
Love, Paris xxx
I would like to share the picture with you. These are the 3 dogs adopted by Liaison Paris and her kind mother, Datin Jennifer Khoo who has taken good care of these dogs in her household. Mumu is our nickname for anything cute!! The three mumus are doing very well and fed very well by Datin Jennifer. Datin has a very soft heart and loves animals.
Thank you paris. I am very thrilled to know the three doggies rescued through Kechara are doing very well. It warms my heart to know this. I really appreciate the updates.

Mumu’s trio enjoying its new home!
What a nice home for the 3 mumus!
Datin is a very kind person, her love for mumu is unquestionable! Having a pet and taking care of it is a huge responsibility. Not only they need to be fed but they are a long lines of maintenance: grooming, medication, vitamins, training, collect popo… typing out the words makes me tired!! Let alone actually doing these chores.
But Datin takes care of all her dogs tirelessly and whole heartedly, they grow up to be nice doggies !
For these 3 mumu, they have been rescued; there are many many not so fortunate animals out there being abandoned and left alone to fan for themselves. I wish I could help in making Kechara Animal Sanctuary a reality!!
Good job Paris and Datin Jennifer for being so kind on taking care of the three mumus, Gonkar,Jamyang and George. It makes me feel happy that animals have a good home. It really warm my heart! They are not sleeping on the streets anymore. and not eating things from the rubbish bin.now they have good f ood. it is showing a good cause for the animal sanctuary to manifest. Keep up the good work. Maybe you can start a animal soup kitchen! also will be known as ASK.thank you rinpoche for giving datin jennifer the merits to help animals get off the streets.
You’re right, Woan. Taking care of the mumus is not an easy “job”. Tell me about it. I have 2 mumus back in my hometown – Michael Jackson in action – one is Black (a real guard dog, fiercely looking after us even though she is rather small) and the other is White (with pink eyeliners, which loves to licks toes and fingers [ask Albert]; what a fetish); I am not there every day but on days that I do get to go home, these 2 are a real handful. My brother’s idea of raising a mumu was to have a guardian of the house, as the neighbourhood has not become so safe after all. His younger daughter (my nickname for her is Disciple No. 2) thought that mumu would always stay small and cute. She never knew that it would turn out to be a lifelong episode of caring for another being – it is not a toy, to be kept aside when you don’t have time for it. Mumu gives unconditional love. All it asks is some in return. Not a bad trade-off, right? Actually it needs everything that we humans need – food, shelter, care, love etc. And Jamie and Datin Jennifer have plenty of that to go around. Let’s emulate their good qualities.

I love these three Mumus. The three dogs have been saved under the Kechara Banner. I think that is quite cool. This is another example for Kechara Animal Sanctuary to manifest in the near future. Aunty Jamie is very hardworking in Kechara House. She also has to take care of the dogs. See what devotion she has! I wish I could be more like her. I want to be more of a dog lover and cat lover but I do not know much tips. I love the picture, they look extremely cute in the little snap shot! Is that not right!
Terima Kasih Rinpoche!
Ah the Mumu Trinity….lol
In the Name of Gonkar, Jamyang and George Soha! *grins*
Appreciation to Jamie and her mom for their outstanding care and love of animals and leading the way to set the exemplary example for the manifestation of Kechara Animal Sanctuary…
How wonderful that from the pics, one can see the wholesome and Dharmic causes created between the Mumus and the Khoo family.
Such is what the Kechara family is about,,,always creating the right and Dharmic causes for the manifestation of greatness for all sentient beings’ welfare and happiness. And in turn, these causes and care become the foundation of KWPC to rise…a matter of time!
Sadhu!
Jamie’s mumus are cute! What a wonderful person Datin Jennifer is, she worked closely with Kechara Animal Sanctuary to take these three cute little mumu off the street, give them medical treatment, food and warm home. In fact, from the picture, the mumu looks a little bit overfed! Haha! Life is good for them!
I remember when Gonkar was very young; he would always fall sick and was not easy to take care. Datin Jennifer and Jamie with much love and patience, took Gonkar to the vet, gave him medicine and nourished Gonkar till he was well. Now, Gonkar sure looks healthy and active now in this picture!
We need more kind-hearted people like Datin Jennifer and Jamie to come forth and support Kechara Animal Sanctuary, which is an extension of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s compassion.

Datin Jeniffer has always been very kind to canines. Not only that she is also a very nice person. I envy Jamie for having such a loving mother in Datin Jeniffer! Its always nice and makes me feel very good when you get to see the mumus are playing happily in the house rather than straying aimless out on the cold streets at night and get bullied by other bigger dogs. Kudos for the people who had done such a good job by saving them.
May Kechara Animal Sanctuary manifests immediately so that more and more animals can be saved.
I love dogs too. And so does my family. I think Datin Jennifer don’t even have to go far to show her compassion and kindness. Some people go to KSK to disribute food to the homeless and some in other ways which boils down to giving kindness. But Datin Jennifer has her own way of compassion by sheltering stray dogs and cats. I am not surprised at what she is doing as she has a gentle and kind face which shows compassion. Even her voice is soft and gentle. She may be a Datin but she does not seem to be like someone who has arrogance. Keep up your natural, kind and compassionate heart Datin Jennifer.
