Indoor Garden
When I visit Singapore, I like to just stop by Shangrila Hotel not far from Orchard Rd, the main shopping street… Grab a cuppa at the coffee house and visit the indoor garden. I like to sit at the indoor garden (free of mosquitoes) and do my sadhanas and just visualize I live in the forest in a large cave or house. I went to visit a few days ago and visited my garden in Shangrila for a short while….If I could, I would have a large indoor garden or atrium in my house with the sunlight shining in……and at night the moonlight..with birds, fishes and my Mumu/Oser running around….what a great living that would be for me….
I love the forest and this is as close as I can get to it for now….Tsem Rinpoche
P.S. I would have a large Buddha statue in the indoor garden too….

There is something to be said about nature and having green plants around us. Back when i were studying, plants were not abundant, and a room without plants or the appearance of plants gives one a bout of depression.
Just having the color green around, helps to soothe and heal. It just feels good to have them around.
We have so much green in Malaysia, however, most of the time we would choose to visit shopping centers rather than going to the green. We parents should bring our kids to play in the stream, picnic in the jungle, etc instead of going to shopping centers every weekend.
Thank you Rinpoche for giving me idea where to do my Sadhana. Even with a little green, I now can visualize myself doing Sadhana in forest
