Study Room in a Forest

Jun 26, 2012 | Views: 793

Scholar’s Library was designed by architect Peter Gluck and is located in the Catskill Mountains, northwest of New York, USA. This unusual building accommodates over 10,000 books belonging to the architect and his wife, a scholar of Japanese history.

You can look at the incredible looking studying refuge as a 20 feet cube filled with knowledge. While the ground floor has no windows as it was especially developed for storing books, the upper level is open towards the inspiring natural environment. The large windows offer panoramic views of the surrounding forest and contribute to creating a charming retreat, perfect for studying and relaxation. There is plenty of space within the beautiful studio, enough to shelter a comfy sofa, work spaces and bookshelves. Could you imagine a better office? ( Photos by Paul Warchol )

Wow, this study room is awesome… And as according to Professors we should look into green after 15mins of reading or watching monitor. So this room is so wonderful and we can just simple look out the forest with green field after reading.

I wish that we have this study room at Kechara Forest Retreat (KFR).

Peace and serenity ,with smell of greens in the morning , quiteness
sounds of insects ,animals etc …

    Dear Rinpoche,

We can built a similar Study Room within Kechara Forest Retreat for Rinpoche. Then it will be better then this one in the US as it will have the blessings of Rinpoche and the Dharma.

    • lewkwanleng on Jun 26, 2012 at 3:03 pm

Yes, we should build one for KFR, and may be we can open it to public at certain time? I can visualize myself reading Dharma text and contemplate in this library…

  7. JP on Jun 26, 2012 at 2:43 pm

Great architecture! The idea is fantastic! I have never seen a personal library so beautiful. You feel like you’re literally in the forest. The peace and serenity just sitting in the room is therapeutic. It’d be great if the other side of the window has a spectacular view of the mountains!

What a beautiful room!A perfect place to feed the mind and the body.
It’s a great and wonderful idea to have a similar library in KFR for Rinpoche and maybe at certain times, this library can be opened to the public.
In such conducive environment , one need not be anywhere else !

  9. hecelustan on Jun 26, 2012 at 4:18 pm

nice building! If Kechara got a meditation room like this build in forest, that would be perfect!

  10. tenzin llhamo on Jun 26, 2012 at 4:57 pm

Interesting! I would rather have it as a house than a study place. I wouldn’t mind living in the middle of the forest and waking up to the calm and peaceful surroundings. I can do some reading and chanting along with the sounds of the birds… And I know I will have the chance very near in the future. Can’t wait!

  11. Sam on Jun 26, 2012 at 5:21 pm

I love this concept on study room in a Forest. The design is very simple and gives a whole lot of peace in mind. The study room can be utilized to meditate and if the space is big enough yoga can be carried out. This brings everyone very near to the nature. Everyone can enjoy a getaway trip if this concept can be materialized in KFR and KWPC. Superbly good for spiritual growth. I super love this!

    Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.
    Please take good care:)

Study Room in a Forest, really sparkling my mind…we can create a forest library in Malaysia too. Due to Malaysia got so many beautiful tropical forest, it is huge potential we have one in our own home.

The design and concept is incredible. Simple and classic. If I got the opportunity visit this Forest library, I would like to spend more than three days at here, read and read!!!Until my eyes cannot open, hehe…

  13. Yvonne Yap on Jun 26, 2012 at 6:46 pm

  14. Sheryl KH (JB) on Jun 26, 2012 at 6:51 pm

Rinpoche has very strong liking towards the nature – the mountains and the lake. This is reflected in many blog posts that you so kindly make.

Environment can change people, the emotions and the thoughts.

I would love to live in this type of environment too, but may I greedily have this thought that this place has easy access to grocery stores too? :)

  15. Cindy on Jun 26, 2012 at 7:17 pm

I would like to own a house at quite place like this, every morning when i wake up can smell green & also is good to go for a walk in the mountains, night time can hear the insects sound

  16. yenpin on Jun 26, 2012 at 7:49 pm

BEAUTIFUL~~~~ Such a calming place to read, meditate, long hang out perhaps = p and meaningful. (as Rinpoche said: “You can look at the incredible looking studying refuge as a 20 feet cube FILLED WITH KNOWLEDGE.”)
Great architecture and plan, facing the natural. Peace and harmony~~~ Love it!

    Thank You Rinpoche ^^,

  18. henry ooi on Jun 26, 2012 at 8:09 pm

Simple design and lay out for practical reasons. Ideal for a retreat within nature. Would not have cost an arm and a leg. Guess it’s not meant to stay in unless there’s a restroom below or an outhouse nearby. Guess the owner meant it to be a place to read, write and relax. Ideal.

  19. grace (KSJC) on Jun 26, 2012 at 8:54 pm

Nice and beautiful, calm and close to natural.good place roe relaxing and reading.

  20. Louise on Jun 26, 2012 at 11:19 pm

That is a very nice place! Really hope that we can have this beautiful view in KFR! How about the house can build near the pond & can see the mountain scene.

Can see the green and listen to the water sound. Wowww……. So cool!! Just imaging the view already make me few so come!

  21. Low ksjc on Jun 26, 2012 at 11:39 pm

The designer did put up a lot of effort into blending architecture with nature.By looking at the design,it will give you a sense of serenity.I certainly hope in time to come ,we could have a similar concept room designed for our dear Rinpoche at KFR as such a design is very suitable for meditation or just looking out into Nature at it best.May the KFR quickly manifest to benefit all those who seek outer and inner peace.

  22. Milly on Jun 27, 2012 at 1:16 am

It is such a beautiful and serene library. Very ideal for our Kechara Forest Retreat land. The glass windows exudes a feeling of spaciousness that looks out to a beautiful forest. Very relaxing and calming for the mind. Thank you Rinpoche for spending endless hours researching interesting and enriching articles to share with us.

  23. Sofi on Jun 27, 2012 at 1:58 am

Absolutely love this library..white, clean and aircond. Lovely view outside to rest the eyes after long hours of reading. Only thing, not more than a few human, otherwise will spoil the peace. Really don’t mind spending days alone there. Maybe our retreat centres could be modelled like this with sofa bed and bathroom & kitchenette downstairs.

  24. Julia Tan on Jun 27, 2012 at 9:16 am

Oh dear.. It’s advance, modern yet so close to the mother nature. This idea of structure never came into my mind before. To me, to be able to be so close to the nature INSIDE the forest can only be wooden hurts, open concept and etc. Wow.. look at this.. it’s inside a concrete box! we can on air conditional when it’s hot! We can open all the windows when it’s windy! Amazing! PERFECT IDEA FOR KECHARA FOREST RETREAT! Don’t you tempting to have one??????

  25. Choi Sheem on Jun 27, 2012 at 2:30 pm

This is a nice and comfortable place to read and work in. Very simple, very Zen yet it is functional. I can only imagine the sound of bird chirping and sound of other forest inhabitants while reading a book in this study.

  26. Judy Lam on Jun 27, 2012 at 4:22 pm

It is beautiful, serene and close to nature. It’s paradise in the woods. Perfect place to read a book and contemplate deeply. Hopefully in the process of building it, not too many tress have to be sacrificed!

  27. pat on Jun 27, 2012 at 5:16 pm

WOW!!!Truly beautiful and excellent idea .. i don’t mind staying there, can leave the hectic life, just relax and read Dharma books ….Even if we turn to four corners of the library we are sure to see greens… and the colour green always make us feel calm, balanced, relaxing and harmonious…and it’s good to have natural bright light in the morning…

  28. Uncle Eddie on Jun 27, 2012 at 5:25 pm

A very unique unusual design, very ideal for serene and peaceful concentration and meditation. With the large windows creating a panoramic view of the forestry surroundings, it of course does create a very natural magnificient charming retreat environment for studies and relaxation. What could make a better office than this. Its really a dream, which makes you feel out when you are really indoors!

  29. June Tang (KH-JB) on Jun 27, 2012 at 9:57 pm

Absolutely beautiful, nice and comfortable place,,,,can hear the sounds of wind, insects, bird…!can see the green….and with a cup of coffeeee……..^_^just very nice…no more other word can discribe…can’t wait, must have one library like this at KFR!! Yeah!!

  30. EricLee KHJB on Jun 27, 2012 at 10:29 pm

  31. Helena Chin on Jun 27, 2012 at 11:22 pm

Thank you very much for sharing Rnpoche. This is a very very beautiful study room hehehe…imagine reading in the woods, forest, listen to the bird singing, the sound of the breeze and the smell of the greens….awesome!!!

  33. Cynthia Ng on Jun 28, 2012 at 12:38 am

  34. Martin on Jun 28, 2012 at 1:08 am

Perfect design for those of us who love nature and the outdoors and at the same time would like to have all the mod cons. I love how the design offers enough light and a sense of seclusiveness. Of course the land plays a crucial part.

The 5_ acre land at KFR is perfect for something like this, with the addition of a beautiful view of the hills.

Nice place. Just looking at it makes my bp drop.

  35. Yoke Fui on Jun 28, 2012 at 7:57 am

This is a simple and functional library. User of this library is connected to nature through the glassed windows.

This can be easily put up at KFR at any time by ourselves.
How nice it would be to receive knowledge and gain wisdom in a natural surrounding like this,

  36. Victor Phang on Jun 28, 2012 at 2:15 pm

A library in forest. I love the room and environment very much. Very clean and neat design plus Reading, learning and meditating with the nature. This is the ideal paradise… hehe!
Thank you for sharing, Rinpoche :)

  37. Pastor Ngeow on Jun 28, 2012 at 2:41 pm

Can I imagine a better reading room/office ? i can but its not going to improve on it very much. I believe some more rustic treatment to the grey concrete walls may blend the bldg better into the environment.
I believe the attractive feature is in its simplicity of design – both in form and function. The cuboid shape is most appropriate. It reminds me of my university days when its huge multi storey library building have a special floor where little cubicles with soft lighting are available for research students. A relaxing reading room environment do make a difference in one’s concentration and sense of pleasantness.

  38. Irene Lim on Jun 28, 2012 at 6:53 pm

This is what I called living in the woods in simplicity and yet comfortably. Good design.

  39. Thierry Janssens on Jun 29, 2012 at 2:18 pm

What a wonderful piece of design, very inspiring, serene, the kind of place that frees the mind so one can focus on his study or practice, no distraction, only visula surrounding that supports the working of the mind….
    Very beautiful, thank you Rinpoche!

  40. Lim Han Nee on Jun 29, 2012 at 3:41 pm

What a lovely concept!Bringing the forest into one’s study! Having a study retreat in the forest! The large windows open out to receive a panoramic view of forest trees. Build this in Kechara Forest Retreat and there will be the view of lake and hills as well.

How perfect, how serene and blissfully quiet it will be: this study for Rinpoche built in KFR – a retreat within a retreat!

  41. su an on Jun 29, 2012 at 6:16 pm

wow so nice! i feel so peaceful just looking at the photos. so conducive environment for reading or meditating. and can have such a pleasant view to rest our eyes after looking at the computer :D

  42. Han on Jun 30, 2012 at 6:48 pm

Simple yet modern and innovative library. Imagine we also have one in Malaysia, would be fabulous!
The whole environment embodies the nature of the forest, the lights, the sun and the fresh air, very peaceful and zen feel!

  43. Sean Wang on Jun 30, 2012 at 9:08 pm

This is such a beautiful library. It would be such an ideal place for a writer. Usually, writers will get a ‘writer’s block’ in the city. I think that that ‘block’ will not occur in such a beautiful place. I hope that in Kechara Forest Retreat and KWPC, we will be able to have something like this. It would so wonderful to be surrounded constantly by the everlasting tranquility of nature.

  44. lucy yap on Jul 1, 2012 at 6:18 pm

A creative ,elegant and amazing library!Visitors to KFR will be spellbound.A great place to relax and enjoy the delightful surroundings. It is spacious too. It’ll be wonderful to have a library like this at KFR.Thank you Rinpoche for these lovely pictures.

  45. nicholas on Jul 3, 2012 at 9:01 am

    Wow, this is really cool!
People go to library to look for books and enjoy the quietness of the environment for reading.
Imagine this place where we can enjoy the same facility with the extra of the green, woods and nature environment, it really gives a different mood from the city library.

KFR will be the perfect place. People driving to KFR passing by the forest and walking through the nature. What a wonderful place that free our mind from our busy life and just let us find peace.

  46. patsy on Jul 7, 2012 at 6:36 pm

What a beautiful library. We can have one built in Kechara Forest Retreat. We can be inside reading a book and yet able to enjoy the serene, lush greenery outside. This type of room is also ideal for meditation.

  47. Bengkooi on Jul 12, 2012 at 5:35 am

Rinpoche has always loved mountains and hills since he was a child, and one of Rinpoche’s dearest wishes is to retreat to a mountain or forest cave to meditate and do extensive retreats. In Rinpoche’s own words, he always feels a strong inclination to mountains, hills and mountain lakes, and this has been the case since he was younger.

During interviews in Tibet with some of Rinpoche’s previous lives students, we learned that the scenery in eastern Tibet, where Kentrul Thubten Lamsang (immediate previous incarnation of Rinpoche) had scenery exactly like that. For that reason, the pull of the mountains and hills is very strong in Rinpoche’s current life.

This study room is beautiful and inspiring. I love the sweeping green views of the forest, the coziness of the room, and particularly the idea of a cube filled with knowledge…. I so wish to create something similar in the Kechara Forest Retreat someday… And offer it to Rinpoche…

  48. Wan Wai Meng on Jul 18, 2012 at 12:31 am

Amazing place, you are in nature yet with the comforts of life. It would be great if there is abundant wildlife too one gets to see them too.

I love this room! I wouldn’t mind staying here to spend the remaining natural years of my life. But i don’t think i will like the insects though, hehe.

Hopefully we’d be able to have this in KFR! May Rinpoche’s visions come true..

    Thank you for sharing, Rinpoche!

  53. Sharon Saw on Jan 6, 2013 at 3:03 pm

This is a very simple yet beautiful concept, bringing the forest into the living space. I know this is something Rinpoche loves very much and i hope that Rinpoche will be able to have something similar to this in the Enchanted Forest at KFR.

  54. Albert Ratchaga on Jan 7, 2013 at 2:29 am

The design is very simple, and yet, very nice and comfortable.

Some times in the world, we do not need to have luxury things to make us happy, things can be very simple, it is just to see whether we put effort in it or not.

Having a library in the forest, hehe, what a life, reading have to be in peace, getting peace in the forest which hear no other sound except nature. isn’t it fun?

  55. Jutika Lam on Feb 2, 2013 at 10:10 pm

    Dear Rinpoche,

Wow!!! This idea of a house cum an office is so cool! It is amazing how creative people can get when it comes to going green.

If i had the money i would definitively find the sponsors, sources as well as the resources and build one of this for Rinpoche to stay and do Rinpoche’s work in this cube.

It looks quite small but taking a look at the inside it has actually quite a lot of space. How nice if we could have this cubes as a place for people to rent and stay in Kechara Forest Retreat.

I also went to visit there website and i found out that they have a lot of ideas on housing designs, really creative….

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this article!

    Love
    Jutika

  56. Sean Wang on Feb 28, 2013 at 2:19 pm

This would be a great idea for a meditation hut or an office. It would be wonderful to be surrounded by forests while working or meditating. It is said that by looking at plants, one’s creative side of the brain will become more active and work will become more productive and creative.

  57. Joy on Mar 4, 2013 at 6:53 pm

Amazing and superb… this is perhaps the most beautiful forest space I’ve ever seen! It may look very small but it certainly gives you the feel of being inside a forest and all that green space is so refreshing! What I like about it is its simplicity and how modern lifestyle is blend in and not challenging nature!

Rinpoche’s library in KFR looks just like this! Soon Rinpoche will not feel claustrophobic anymore and will be able to get clean fresh air daily which is also good for the health! Thank you JP and KFR team for bringing our Guru’s own personal wish come true!!!

  58. Andrew Boon on Mar 4, 2013 at 9:48 pm

Looking back at this post, pics 3-6 seem to be manifesting in Enchanted Forest in KFR. There is a library space within the Forest Ladrang that has a similar feel and view!

In fact the one in Enchanted Forest has floor to ceiling windows which makes the view even more spectacular. The Ladrang construction headed by Liaison JP Thong is shaping into a spectacular architectural beauty in the middle of forest right by a hill… Well done JP!

Fact: JP was also the person that was in charge of the building of TTDI Tsem Ladrang.

Here are some interesting snippets of JP, a look at another side to JP:

I love watching this video about Dharma work that was recorded by Rinpoche a few years ago. I have watched it a few times already and constantly go back to this blog post to watch it again every now and then… it helps me a lot to keep my motivation for Dharma in place. Perhaps it’s time for you to listen to this Dharma talk again! Here’s the link =) http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/me/dharma-work-attitude-tdl.html

Went out with a group of my writers tonight. We had gone to Petaling Street to purchase a lot of offering items for Manjushri…afterwards…. Had a nice meal at a restaurant specializing in China’s Dongbey province. The place is simple and not pricy but the food is mouth watering and superb. The 8 of us gulped down the food and boy was it satisfying. You can’t imagine. Then we adjourned to Delicious to have some coffee/tea/lychee tea and cakes and lively conversation and pick games. Had a good time spending time with wonderful people some of which I have known for years. Now doing sadhana and sleep soon. Tsem Rinpoche

For Ashlee – Dear Ashlee, I am happy to hear about your wish to help the animals. Each day of us not eating meat for the duration of our lifetime will accumulate into hundreds if not thousands of lives saved. I do need a lot of help with KAS and thank you very much for helping. When i first came to kechara, Alex was the first few people who shared his knowledge with me and I appreciate you both very much. With the blessings of Rinpoche, let us continue our journey together to manifest a safe haven for the animals as well as play an influential role to instill a caring nature in our community.

Being one of the closer student around Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, i do experience a lot of miracles, from someone who are very sick got heal or rain stop at certain moment that is urgent, some may think it’s all coincidence, let me tell you a real truth story that happened an hour ago. H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, like to rescue animals such as fishes, dogs, birds and etc. In our new Kechara Forest Retreat land, Rinpoche have kindly requested one of the liaison Beng Kooi to build a fish pond for all the fishes that Rinpoche rescued. The contractors that we got in to build the fish pond was slow and delay a few deadline that they gave. Just 2 days ago, Rinpoche instructed the fish pond project to be call off and all workers should leave the fish pond site as soon as possible. While we still thinking why Rinpoche cancel this project as it’s one of Rinpoche wishes to build a very comfortable place for fishes. Something happened an hour ago, there was a big bang came from the fish pond site, the whole artificial waterfall wall collapse without people go near it. This artificial waterfall wall was made out of cement, wire mesh, metal bar and etc, it weigh easily 200-300 Kgs. Luckily Rinpoche have giving us warming do not go near this waterfall 2 days ago, and should stop all construction wall, just imagine the workers are still working when the waterfall fall, some people might died or serious injury now. Due to humility Rinpoche will not say a word or show his premonitions power, this happened many many times. Rinpoche just save a few life without them knowing it. A lot of people will think why such horrible thing can happened in a holy land like Kechara Forest Retreat, a Buddhist site should always safe from all accident, but we believe if a place that will be use to benefiting thousands, a lot of obstacles will appear, I will take this artificial waterfall accident as part of clearing our negative karma, may all the negative karma from all of us be cleared. It’s glad that this happened before we move any fishes into this pond. In Tibetan culture, it’s an auspicious omen which represent bad obstacles have been cleared, and all our project will grow very smoothly later. It’s very important we follow our lama’s instruction/advice, even though sometime we might not understand it truly, because a real lama will never do anything which is not beneficial.

For tsemtulku – My dear Rinpoche,Alex & I met you 10 years ago. Because of your precious Dharma teachings & guidance, we are able to transform ourselves. Because of your Dharma vision, we now have 14 Departments for people with different skills & interest to be involve and for us to create merits in virtuous activities. I have been a part time vegetarian for sometime. Somehow i just wasn’t able to be a full vegetarian. After watching your teaching on “Integrity, Keeping promises & Vows”, it finally hit me. It is so true that having vows are not meant to “Imprison” us but really to help us transform positively to kick away our negative habits. I realize that from young, we have been condition to think that we have to eat meat and meat is delicious and it is part of life to consume meat in our daily diet. Hence we ignore the sufferings of others in order to indulge in our own taste buds. Lately, i have develop myself into feeding strays nearby my neighbourhood and I’m compelled to help strays via Kechara Animal Sanctuary. After deep contemplation, i realize that i cannot be wanting to help KAS and yet still eating meat. The equation is just so wrong. Now i can see clearly, it makes it so much easier to be a full vegetarian. Taking the vegetarian vow is not an imprisonment but it is another level of commitment to not be the source of pain to other sentient beings. It is a choice that we make to kick away our preconception of consuming meat for a balance diet.If one is against animal cruelty, then one should practice vegetarianism. Can’t be pitching for animal rights when you are still eating them. My daughter once said to me, “Mommy, animals are our friends so we shouldn’t be eating them”. I find that so profound coming from a kid. I’m very sure my family members will not be supportive of me going vegetarian but I pray that one day they will also come to the same realization as i have.
I humbly offer to Rinpoche my vegetarian vow and may it be dedicated to Rinpoche’s long life. May it also be dedicated to my family, loved ones and friends.
I will continue to get involve in KAS activities to assist Pastor Susan.
    Thank you my dear Lama.

Most amusing is this unparalleled ingenuity of the highly inspired dramatic slogan (self-explanatory) in the cover picture of http://www.facebook.com/MBFSG?fref=ts which HHDL and all Buddhas of the past, Buddhas of the present and Buddhas yet tocome, correspondingly are bowing their heads in deferential obeisance. Are we now transported to the Age of Somnambulism??? To earthlings, the most crucial life sustaining factor is NO AIR, NO LIFE, in so far as planet Earth and basic common sense are concerned.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

Kyabje Chatral Rinpoche: "I am just an ordinary sentient being and there is nothing special about me. I just follow the teachings of Lord Buddha. Without any cheating on my part, I stand firmly on the ground in practicing the Dharma and in helping all sentient beings. I wish that all sentient beings could let go of the acts of self-deception and self-aggrandizement, so that they can really practice the Dharma in order to liberate themselves from cyclic existence and to help other sentient beings. Otherwise, it will be too late when they are feeling remorseful!"

We should have compassion for butchers. When we stop eating meat, we don’t make create the causes for them to slaughter animals contributing to their killing karma. We may say it’s ok to eat meat, but someone has to do the killing and collect the negative karma. Go vegetarian. It’s good for the butchers, the animals and ourselves.~Tsem Rinpoche

Kechara Liaisons are leaders who head and run our 13 depts within Kechara. Liaison Paul heads the arts, statue making, florist and Gompa depts. Yes he has huge portfolios. And he does a good job! Paul took a group of people to Kechara Forest Retreat today with Pastor Yek Yee to introduce to them about our projects. Paul tirelessly/kindly talks to many people this way. It's people like Paul who contributes to Kechara reaching out to many and benefitting them. When we do dharma and not see it as work, it's never a burden. We should see it as a way for ourselves to grow and creating the space for others to grow also. Kind people like Paul inspire me. Thank you Paul. Tsem Rinpoche

Andrew will also carry on his other portfolios of writing and Ladrang work. I am very proud of him and congratulate him for his commitment, tenacity and sheer good motivation to do this project. When our Kecharians move up, take on more and accept more dharma work, it shows they have grown inside and will help others to grow! I offer my prayers to the Three Jewels for Andrew and all the people who will be benefitted by the presence of this sacred outdoor Buddha for the public! Humbly, Tsem Rinpoche

I don't think anyone would want the poor thing, so I adopted him and keep him safe, fed and with lots of fresh air. He's also in a large aviary so he can be with other birds and not be alone. Dear all, This is Paris interviewing my sister Lidshma. She mentions when I was very young the monks would have me sit with them to do the Buddhist services which was highly irregular in New Jersey. They didn't have lay people even children sit with them to do the services. So she mentions this was very unusual in a good way. My sister Lidshma here mentions my mother (Dana) would always catch me in the night in my room in the dark sitting on my bed meditating and doing mantras. I did that always and had to avoid being caught by my mother. I did it nightly. So I did it secretly and without her catching me. If she did catch me, then there would be big drama and problems depending on the mood my mom was in. My practicing dharma/meditating/praying/mantras was not allowed at all by my parents. They were fiercely against it always. My sister remembers this here. My sister lives in Texas, USA. And our bio group had gone to USA to interview my family for my bio book. This is a snippet.
