Furry Friends Farm
Received this info below from Dino Goh…thank you Dino for bringing this to my attention.
Please everyone do help…please help these poor animals. They don’t deserve this at all. Please Please Please help them. I appeal to you from the bottom of my heart. Take a look at the heartwrenching pictures. Don’t say it is hard to look at the pictures for you, it is even harder for the little animals who are actually suffering.
Tsem Tulku
Please be kind to animals. Don’t abuse them in any way. Nothing is gained. Nothing at all.
———————————————————————————————————-
These are just some of the many animals which were abused by heartless people in the country. With the case of JOY, she has to survive for life without a lower jaw after being cruelly beaten by foreign construction workers in Selayang in 2006. In 2009, over 300 dogs from Pulau Ketam were dumped and left to die in the Pulau Selat Kering mangrove island.
Malaysia has come to a crucial point in time where the REVISED ANIMALS ACT 1953 needs to be amended for harsher penalties and more effective endorsement to put a stop to such barbaric acts!
Furry Friends Farm (FFF) is organising a national campaign to collect as many signatures as possible before the World Animal Day on 4 October 2010. This petition will be delivered to the Prime Minister’s office by October 2010.
Let us voice out together against animal cruelty!
Please get your family members and friends to sign the attached petition form and submit it to FFF. Help spread the word around!

Aiyoh I really don’t like people who can harm animals like this. What does it say about a person when they pick on something defenceless? Very cowardly, and also sad that no one taught them to know better.
This makes me so sad
Dear Rinpoche, I cried myself to sleep when I saw these pictures. I would like to dedicate a puja for these and all other poor helpless victims. Which puja do you recommend that I do?
Dear Yee ling,
Donate food and medicines for these animals would be a great puja combined with reciting Medicine Buddh Mantra.

Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you. I will do as you advised.
This is utterly shocking & extremely sad to see what they’ve done to the dogs…animals can feel the pain too and they have their rights too.
Terima Kasih Rinpoche!
Yes it’s a shame that people from all the way in Hong Kong can come and help the dogs to be rescued in the Pulau Ketam case when some of our own citizens are numb their suffering.
Recently, by accident I spotted a video entitled ‘It’s legal in China’ that was shortly removed for violations where I saw how a husky was skinned alive and had its back legs skinned to the bone and then twisted until it broke and the butcher was repeatedly beating up the husky that was still alive until its tongue stuck out and when it was still alive and writhing in unbearable agony, the same butcher stepped on its neck to stuff out its life.
For the first time in my life, I saw the husky’s eyes…so full of pain and hatred at the same time and how it died afterwards…
There was a memorable comment left on that removed video…
‘I forgive myself for allowing such evil to exist in me and in the world’…
“All living things fear being beaten with clubs.all living things fear being put to death.putting oneself in the place of the other, let no one kill nor cause another to kill”
Wish more people would believe in cause and effect, whatever we create cruelty or pain for others whether human or animals it will return back to them several times more if unpurified. Bulllying animals who cannot really defend themselves is an act of cowardice. Malaysians we have to wake up now we have to treat animals better or risk more infamy like what happened to the dogs that were dumped from Pulau Ketam. Do we Malaysians like another incident that brings infamy to our nation again? The Furry Friends Farm(FFF) have rescued some of the dogs that were dumped at Pulau Selat Kering, out of that FFF have rescued 24 the rest probably perished. Initially about 300 domestic dogs were abandoned at the island. How cruel people can be!
Thank you to Uncle Dino for providing this information. I will go and sign the petition for the saving of these poor innocent animals that did nothing in this life to get mangled and beaten for this. Even though it is their Karma from past lives. I think that they do not deserve to be punished so severely. Especially in the case of the poor mumu dog named Joy. Her lower jaw is gone. How shall she eat unless she is force fed? That would be like the suffering of a hungry ghost already! I hope that the government will do something so that other dogs and cats do not have to go through this tremendous suffering. I really hope that when KAS manifests all the innocent animals from the street can live among their kind in a beautiful utopia for dogs. That is what KAS will be!
ITS SICKENING TO SEE OR HEAR OF STORIES LIKE THIS. i HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A PET LOVER; BE IT FISHES, DOGS, DUCKS AND WHATEVER. I USE TO HAVE A DUCK WHICH I’VE RESCUED FROM A MONSSON DRAIN AFTER A HEAVY DOWNPOUR WHEN I WAS ABOUT 7 YEARS OLD. I NAMED THE DUCK DONALD. IRONIC? THE DUCK GREW AND GAVE US PLENTY OF EGGS. EXACTLY 1 A DAY WITHOUT FAIL FOR OVER A YEAR BUT, SADLY 1 DAY A RELATIVE SLAUGHTERED MY FAVOURITE PET AND THE CHEEK OF IT; SERVED IT AS A DISH. I’VE NEVER TASTED DUCK MEAT PROPR TO THIS BUT ONE BITE WAS ALL IT TAKES. I SOMEHOW FELT SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT IT WAS DONALD ON THE PLATTER! i WOWEDNOT TO EAT DUCK FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE AFTER THE INCIDENT. EVEN WHEN MY FISH DIES I REALLY FELT VERY SAD FOR A LONG WHILE. JUST DONT KNOW WHAT THESE PEOPLE WERE THINKING OF. I’VE HAD COUNTLESS PET THROUGHOUT MY GROWING AGE AND TO DATE HAVE WHAT I CALL A ‘MINI’ ZOO IN MY HOUSE. HEHE. JUST TRYING TO INSTIL A SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY AND LOVING KINDNESS WITH MY KIDS AS WELL AS MY NEPHEWS AND NIECES. ONE DAY WHEN I HAVE THE RESOURCES I WOULD LOVE TO SET UP A SHELTER FOR THESE POOR ANIMALS. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG.
Every time I see or hear of animals being abused, it angers and frustrates me to no end. What worries me more is, the people who are responsible for these horrible acts are walking freely among us. It is commonly believed that people who abuse animals are either showing signs of a predisposition to violence or have been victims of violence themselves. It may be a warning sign of even more serious problems to come. It is often recommended that those who abuse animals should be placed into counseling or to receive psychological help. There are very strong connections between animal abuse and human violence. Animals that are victimized by animal abuse many times begin to suffer from behavioral problems as well.
I cannot even begin to imagine what these innocent victims went through when they became the target of merciless acts. Stop animal abuse, be part of the community who educate and create awareness against animal cruelty. No one has any right to hurt or take away the gift of life of another living being.
Yes Peter I fully agreed with you when you comment “it is a shame that people from all the way in hongkong can come and help the dogs to be rescued in the pulau ketam case when some of our own citizens are numb their suffering.” But does it matter WHO, WHAT,WHEN,AND HOW all this happened? MOST IMPORTANT IS TO ACT! ACT BY HELPING. We should jump into action, organising or urging our families, relatives and friends to participate, especially in respond to the signatures collecting national campaign organised by FURRY FRIENDS FARM (FFF) on 4th October, 2010. FFF is putting up a petition to be delivered to our Prime Minister office to revise our Animals Act 1953 for harsher penalties and more effective endorsement to put a stop to such BARBARIC ACTS!!!!!!!!!PLEASE PETER, LET US WITH ONE VOICE GET TOGRTHER TO PUT A STOP TO SUCH INSANITY!!
my parents say that i abuse my animals but i reaaly don’t. i do punish them but not as bad as this
