Celebrity Ghost Stories-Must watch video!!!
Dear Everyone,
Since I was very young I’ve had a huge interest in the paranormal, Tibet, magic, mysteries, bigfoot, lochness, Findhorn, Ufo’s, Nazca lines, spirits, Salem, Easter Island, dowsing, Greek Gods, Hindu Gods, Yogis, Himalayas, Shambala, Aura, divinations, Delphic Oracle, Tibetan Oracles, Nature Spirits, Pan, Shamans and similar. I use to love that show called ‘IN SEARCH OF’ hosted by Leonard Nimoy. It is on youtube and I have the whole video collection. Sp ordered for me. I watch it from time to time. I loved ‘Chariot of the Gods’ Erich Von Daniken and have watched it 20 times maybe. I can really relate to these subjects. Even now I am very interested and find these subjects very fascinating. I always watch shows related to the above. Especially documentaries.
Yes, I do believe 100% in UfO’s, lochness, bigfoot, Shambala, Nature Spirits all the way. There are so many realms and planes of existence that Lord Buddha has described and mentioned many times. I trust Lord Buddha. Buddha talked about other existences over 2,600 years ago before cultural prejudices said it can or cannot exist.
The other day I watched Ghost Stories by Celebrities. It was very interesting. So I thought I’d share with you. Do enjoy please.

Close encounter with spirits and a headless woman
THE older the structure, the more likely it is to be haunted. Given the chequered history of Pudu Prison – which dates back to 1895 – you can be sure it has more than its fair share of ghostly tales.
Abu Bakar Juah says it was common to hear things at night – footsteps where no one was supposed to be, chains rattling, and even hearing someone or something taking a bath when everyone is locked in.
“We normally shout out loud that we are merely trying to make a living and tell whatever that’s out there to leave us alone,” he says.
Haji Aziz Haji Idris tells of an encounter while on duty at one of the guard towers when he was still a young officer.
“It was shortly after midnight and I was on night duty with another person when I saw an officer approaching. As we had been trained, I banged my rifle on the floor and shouted out ‘Everything all right, sir!”
Aziz says the figure said nothing but raised his hand, and then suddenly disappeared.
He also remembers one particular bunk in the warder’s dormitory which everyone tried to avoid.
“Anyone who slept there would be sure to feel an unseen force pressing down on his chest. They may try to shout or move but will be helpless to do anything,” he says, adding that some would rather sleep on the floor than use the bunk.
Abu Bakar also recalls a weird phenomenon – a ball of fire the size of a football that suddenly appeared and rolled out of sight.
“It happened every once in a while, and in cycles. Everyone would be talking about it for a while,” he says.
But the scariest tale is that of a recurring apparition of a woman. Aziz believes it was the ghost of a woman who was hanged there.
“She had tried to kill herself previously by slitting her throat. She survived but before she was fully recovered, the execution order came,” he says.
“She was brought to the execution chamber and hanged – but because of the injury, her head was literally torn off. It was a gruesome death and that is the ghost that many people have seen.”
He recalls an encounter with this apparition.
“I was on duty at Block D, where death row is located, and directly above the execution chamber is a huge anchor stone.
“Out of the corner of my eye I saw a figure sitting on this stone. Malays believe ghosts’ feet do not touch the ground, and when I bent over to look, the figure disappeared,” he says.
But a fellow officer’s encounter was even more shocking.
“Once, a police officer was interviewing prisoners and it was getting late. However, he said that he could interview one more, and I went down to bring another one.
“As he was filling in some forms he saw a figure sitting down. Thinking it was another prisoner he looked up, only to see a headless woman with blood flowing down her chest. The officer ran down the stairs as fast as he could,” he says.
Aziz believes Pudu Prison is a very “dirty” place and in some places is a giant graveyard.
“During World War II, the British buried Japanese soldiers there, and when the Japanese took over, they buried the British there.
“The ghosts here are real,” says Aziz.

I wonder what are people’s definition of ‘real’ these days? LOL
When things are good? When things are bad? When one is high on something? When one is moody? When one closes both eyes, hoping it will go away? When things go bump at night?
Denial or otherwise are perhaps just basic tools of survival, of getting around things but never as how the Buddha taught us as how Rinpoche always reminds us: to see them as they really are, not how we want them to be …imprints…imputations… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxhk4VwrJlc

Ghosts don’t just exist on TV and in the movies as even the Buddha mentioned that there were six realms and amongst them is the hungry ghost realm. It is a state of existence of total emotional and physical poverty. It is very sad because people continually create the conditions to be reborn there by being emotionally stingy and uncaring. On the other hand, many people that die and are unable to let go of tremendous attachment takes rebirth as a spirit.
Spirits are just like people, where there are diferent personalities like those that are nice, not nice, friendly, malevolent and angry spirits. However, they suffer much more than humans and so we should have compassion for their sufferings. There is a variety of methods in Buddhism to benefit the spirit world and generally one can dedicate prayers and mantras to the Buddha for these beings. As for interfering spirits, Rinpoche taught me to recite White Umbrella’s mantra – Om Sita Ta Pa Trey Hum Phet consistently and the interferences will stop.
I ‘saw’ my first ghost when I was at my tender age of 7 and it was on telly. It was a Malay movie on POCONG. Pocong is a ghost that is said to be the soul of dead person trapped in their suit. The pocong suit is used by Muslims to cover the body of the dead person. They cover the dead body with white fabric called mori (kain kafan) and tie the clothing over the head and under the feet. According to the native beliefs, the soul of a dead person will stay on the earth for 40 days after the death. When the ties aren’t released after 40 days, the body is said to jump out from the grave to warn people that the soul need the bonds to be released. After the ties are released, the soul will leave the earth and never appear again. Because of the tie under the feet, the ghost can’t walk. This causes the pocong to hop. The thing I realise is, as a kid I actually found the strangely wrapped up ‘ghost’ clumsy and funny. There was no sign of fear at all. Something happened between that 7-year-old me and who I am now… where in between did fear creep into my sub-conscience? Is it when I started to understand and recognise what ‘threat’ is and what it could do? It is said that fear is am emotional response to a perceived threat. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain or the threat of danger. Children being pure, innocent and free of fear… are these a few of the many reasons why younger children are more open to having any sort of connections to the spirit world? It does make me wonder.
There is a rise and rebirth of horror films in recent times in the cinema and on television. These genre of movies are not particularly thrilling for me. We are not talking about violent horror shows but a modern take with a bit twist of romantic influence, Twilight, The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural. I do not like the dark because of the ‘unknowns’ that are lurking around. I remembered the first time Rinpoche asked me why I would like a VY statue and my stand (a holy one!!) was to get rid of my attachments and desires! But my main reason was to ward of spirits! Rinpoche saw through that, of course and gave me a teaching on compassion. Compassion not only to living beings but also to the spirits. Through Rinpoche’s kindness, I would now chant mantras when I am in the dark, not for defence but to bless the spirits around! I still watch horror shows with fingers covering my eyes but the gaps are getting bigger!
I got really scared even at the start of the video. I think this video scared me because it told me that ghosts do not only appear in movies or television, they appear everywhere. I thought that just the pop ups in the beginning where the most scary as they popped up unsuspectingly and it gives of an ear piercing scream.

I can relate to Lisa Rinna’s story.. My mum experienced something very similar, and I was the kid. I didn’t remember the incident, but my mum told me about it. Haha.
It seemed that when I was younger (I forgot how old exactly, but old enough that I could talk), my mum was going through an old photo album with me, and when a photo of my great grandmother (my mum’s grandmother, who she had been VERY close to), I happily pointed at it and told my mum, “She’s my friend. She comes to play with me every night.”
And my mum was VERY creeped out about it. Hahaha. She told my grandparents about it and they agreed that it could have been that my great grandmother came as a spirit to play with her first great grandchild. (My mum was the eldest of three and no one else had kids, so yeah, maybe she came to see me. lol )
But I think after that one incident, I don’t think it happened anymore though because my mother said I no longer mentioned anything about the ‘visits’.
