8 feet Vajra Yogini in Kechara!
Our beautiful 8 feet Vajra Yogini has arrived in our new Kechara prayer hall (Gompa). Here you can see our dedicated group from Kechara Saraswati Arts dept putting on finishing touches to Her.
Vajra Yogini’s six ornaments inclusive of Her body represents the perfection of the 6 paramitas. One who engages in making offering of ornaments collects the merits/karmic seeds to attain the six paramitas which is essential for accomplishing higher practices.
Deities do not wear ornaments for the sake of ornaments. But they have deep significance and positive karmic effects for us. One who has perfected the 6 paramitas in their mind stream becomes a beautiful person well sought after that brings relief to many. One becomes a beacon of hope, love, patience, wisdom, generosity, and stable mind. One is able to inspire and move others into doing virtuous works… Like ornaments that are meant to beautify a person, for spiritual practitioners, the best ornaments are the 6 paramitas. Hence on deities, accomplishment of the paramitas is represented by wearing ornaments. Therefore if we have statues, it is wonderful to offer ornaments or precious items onto them with a good motivation. It generates great amount of positive karma for achieving wisdom, generosity, wealth, stable mind, patience and great love. In the future when one wishes to engage in those practices such as patience, wisdom or acquire wealth, it will be much easier since you have planted the seeds by making offerings of ornaments to the Buddhas.
Making offerings of precious items onto the Buddhas are also a direct cause for wealth. By offering wealth, one creates karma to receive wealth. Also the deity you offer precious items onto, you make a special affinity with this diety. Very powerful, meaningful and should be engaged in at all times.
Tsem Rinpoche

Hi Rinpoche, Good Day.
The Lady Vajra Yogini is extremely beautiful and well made to the minute detailing. Its very auspicious and special. I believe upon completion, it will really benefit many visitors to the new gompa. Very excited for the end results.
Thanks for the update.
The energy of devotion and dedication from the workers, and joy of wellwishers are so alive! So auspicious!
I have not seen the real colour of the Vajra Yogini statue in the new Gompa yet. I think this Vajra Yogini statue is special. I notice that the statue is antic colour and not red colour as red is the normal colour we always see in Vajra Yogini. Its a must that we have Vajra Yogini statue among the other deities in Kechara House new Gompa. As the name Kechara is the abode of Vajra Yogini. And Vajra Yogini being so attractive can draw a lot of people to Kechara when people look at her. Then people will ask questions and when they understand the benefits that they can get will plant a seed in them that they hope to take Vajra Yogini’s Initiation and be able to do her practice.
I have always wanted to say this , I am in love with vajrayogini….. lol j/k. Rinpoche I wanted to ask has she beenfilled. With prayers and mantras yet?? If not can I mail you some hand written prayers to place in her???
It has been fully filled. Thank you.
