I must thank my dharma blog team who are great assets to me, Kechara and growth of dharma in this wonderful region. I am honoured and thrilled to work with them. I really am. Maybe I don't say it enough to them, but I am saying it now. I APPRECIATE THESE GUYS VERY MUCH!

I rejoice for you Jenny! May I be so fortunate one day.
It was certainly a historical moment for Kechara House, one which will not be forgotten for a long long time to come. When she was still known as Jenny, she met Rinpoche more than 10 years ago and had made many trips to Gaden monastery along with her husband Eddie to pay respects to Rinpoche there. And she also loyally followed Rinpoche when he came to Malaysia to set up Kechara.
It is thanks to Rinpoche’s teachings that Anila has renounced worldly life and is now our first local Sangha member. And I thank Anila for being an example of a loyal student who trusts in her guru and follows his advice all the way!
May there be many many more, including myself! Do check out more pics from the event (http://www.kechara.com/kechara-house/news/kechara-house-creates-history/)
Seeing this picture reminds me of the special moment between Tsem Rinpoche and Zong Rinpoche, when Rinpoche solidified his commitment to become a monk ( http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/03/this-photo-was-taken-at-tdl-centre-in-los-angeles-in-1989-i-had-promised-to-take-ordination-and-go-to-gaden-monastery-hh-zo.html ).
When Rinpoche became a monk, it was the start of a journey for Kechara – without Rinpoche following his guru’s instructions, he never would’ve gone to Gaden. It means he wouldn’t have come to Malaysia to eventually form Kechara. By taking ordination vows, Rinpoche created the causes for Kechara. For Ani-la, she’s creating the causes for the sangha to be present at KWPC. Because of people like Rinpoche and Ani-la following their gurus’ instructions, the sangha community in Malaysia will grow!
Anila is a really hardworking person who is willing to do anything for the glorious Dharma. Now she is fully a nun. She fully devotes herself to the Dharma. I really wish that she can live ultra super mega long so that she can guide others to renunciation and that can cause a chain reaction and the person might get enlightened. I wish that Anila will get enlightened swiftly. OM MANU PADME HUM! May you have patience to those who do not listen when you guide them and you must never ever give up in this. I hundred and fifty percent trust you!
Dear Rinpoche,
What has been the progress of Anila so far (becoming the nun of Kechara)?
Rinpoche, How is Anila doing?
