I must thank my dharma blog team who are great assets to me, Kechara and growth of dharma in this wonderful region. I am honoured and thrilled to work with them. I really am. Maybe I don't say it enough to them, but I am saying it now. I APPRECIATE THESE GUYS VERY MUCH!

This Tsongkhapa has been in Kechara House ever since it was founded in 2004, and has been at the heart of all our spiritual activities since then.
When I first stepped into Kechara House in 2007, I had never heard of Tsongkhapa before and I thought the clothes on the statue looked odd and completely out of place.
But now, having learnt much more about making offerings to the Buddhas and having travelled to Nepal and India to view traditional Buddha images, I have come to love these traditional cloth offerings very much.
I will miss this Tsongkhapa when we move to our new gompa in a few months time… but I am also looking forward to our new LARGER Tsongkhapa that is coming soon!
Same goes for KPSS2…I’ll really miss that place, it was around even before KH1! We’re growing so quickly and moving out of all of the old original buildings. Oh well, a necessary growing pain
I remember when I first went to KH1 before any of the renovations had even begun. It was just an empty shell but already Rinpoche had so many ideas for how everything could be laid out. In fact, even on that first visit, Rinpoche was already formulating ideas that we will now see in the new gompa, like an area for children to sit whilst a dharma teaching is in progress. In the end, we didn’t have enough space in the current KH1 but it’s clearly an idea that Rinpoche has not forgotten and it’s because Rinpoche always operates from the same motivation, which is to benefit others. So even when it comes to designing gompas, Rinpoche has designed both the old and new gompa to serve the congregation.
The image of the great saint of Tibet, Tsongkhapa seems to peer through your soul as you enter Kechara House, implanting the seeds of wisdom so that you may come again. The details are very realistic. It is as if the great saint himself is in the room. The strong energy is unavoidable, people are gazing in awe at the beautiful statue as the vibes surge through their gross body and true mind. Seeing the offerings laid out perfectly and equally makes a person contemplate the meaning of effort and awareness. The world’s largest indoor Lama Tsongkhapa will be in Kechara World Peace Centre. It will be a great impact on to the Buddhism of Malaysia. Tourism will have a new high as it skyrockets when tourist flock around just to see the majestic statue, a true gentle giant. With blood red lips, smiling at everyone, Lama Tsongkhapa will provide infinite pieces of great peace among the citizens of Malaysia and anyone who visits them! May KWPC manifest swiftly!
