Me at Lost World
I am riding on a self peddle raft on a lake in the Lost World. Nice….lots of fishes follow you as you paddle around the lake. Take food with you which you get as you get your raft ticket….nice to peddle and feed the fishes…they are not afraid and very hungry..cute.
Ipoh is around two hours away from Kuala Lumpur usually. Usually is the magic word here.
There’s a LOST WORLD water theme park which I visited last week. I wanted to see if it was a nice place to invite Kechara staff to a treat in the future. And it was nice. A nice day visit.
There’s:
1. Mini petting Zoo
2. Mini walk through aviary-nice
3. A choo choo train that takes you through the whole park and stops for 5 mins at various locations. I liked that.
4. Wonderful lake that has rafts that you peddle. Take the ones in the shape of the Swans..they are much faster and easier. Take fish food which you can buy when you pay for the rafts because the fishes (hundreds) follow you all over the lake as you paddle and very hungry and cute.
5. Great gift store, which we bought out…hehehe
6. Cafe with ok snacks and food..even Vegetarians like us can find food there.
7. Lots of water fun…you can bring your swimming trunks, they have lockers and showers…spend a great day at the water fun they have available…we didn’t go as I couldn’t find XXXXXXXXXL trunks to fit me (just kidding..hehe)…but very nice.
Around 6 hours would be enough to spend at the Lost World I would guess. It closes around 6pm..
But before you visit the Lost World go to the Kek Lok Tung Lime caves which I have blogged already(http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/2010/11/?p=12772 )….it is worth it. Go early in the morning to the caves then to Lost World..
Nice.

Dear Rinpoche, thank you for sharing this. Nice place, relaxing. Will plan a trip to visit this and Kek Lok Tung temple soon and remember to paddle correctly, hehe.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this with us. I visited Lost World many years back when they first open and it has expanded so much since then. I will visit again one of these days as well as to Kek Lok Tung Temple.
Thank you for sharing this Rinpoche. I will plan to go to Kek Lok Tung Temple and Lost World soon. I think that it will be nice if KWPC and KAS would have a pond with tons of fishes and a train to go around it. I have already noted down to use the Swan peddle boats.
If you have been working very hard for Kechara Organisation you don’t have to fret. Rinpoche as Spiritual Head of Kechara will take care of you and will not exploit you. And will reward you for work done. He will find ways for you take a break and relax. I understand he also suggest to heads of departments to bring their staff members for massages after long and stressful work. I believe Rinpoche’s taste of food and places to visit is very good. If he says it is good. It will turn out to be good. The Lost World Theme Park in Ipoh is suggested by Rinpoche for his friends and students to visit after his experiencing and visiting the Lost World Water Theme Park. It sounds very ideal and interesting as a place to go for relaxing. you can go for a day trip which takes a 2 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Go early in the morning and come back in the evening . Its an all in one Theme Park to visit.
