Why Afraid of Loans?
Click on the video to watch:
While visiting the Buddhist Caves and Ipoh in general, I realized why should I be afraid of taking loans for a good cause and within my means…. What is the fear? Why have these fears for so many years? I decided to let go…when I did, I decided to express it all with the few people that day who made the day trip with me. Selfishness is really like a snake, everyone watches you from a distance but dare not get close……
Tsem Rinpoche
( I re-blogged this video here to express my feelings about the loans in another context. This video is also under the ‘KEK LOK TONG & LOST WORLD IN IPOH’. )

Awww Rinpoche I cried along with you in the video! All the best to you and KAS. I’ll be praying for you :O)
”i will put more effort on it, and will do a prayer and will create a cause for it too… Kechara animal sanctuary will manifest. Much love on it” ( I offer my self to KAS )
Boy… I don’t know where to begin a comment…
I was struck on every level of my being with this video. The title was very misleading. This is about KWPC. This is about Kechara Animal Sanctuary. “Loans Shmoans”, (if I may borrow a certain teachers phraseology) this video was about big, big things.
I wonder if I will end up better, or worse if I donate 75% of my next paycheck to Kechara Animal Sanctuary… Something inside me says to follow my heart, and my heart says to give as much money as I can without regret, and without thoughts about my future. Normally, money equals a secure future… but… what if it doesn’t?
Deeply moving 20 minute video… Exceptional… Go Wai Meng, best coin toss!

Dear Rinpoche,
I know Kechara Animal Sanctuary is going to manifest. It definitely will. I am going to do my prayers and create a cause for it to happen too. I believe there are many of us out here who cares and will do whatever we can to help.
Love,
Nicole
Beside doing the weekly food distribution to the homeless, we have started feeding stray dogs that normally hang out with the homeless with the hope that it will create the cause for Kechara Animal Statuary to manifest soon, real soon……
I believe that KWPC and the Kechara Animal Sanctuary will manifest. Whenever I do my prayers I would be dedicating my prayers to all of Kechara’s Projects and for the growth of Kechara. Therefore It would be creating the causes for them to flourish. I will do whatever I can to help the Animal Sanctuary. I really hope that there will be enough money for the growth of Kechara Animal Sanctuary as it is really dear to Rinpoche’s heart and it will really benefit a lot of Animals and will plant the seeds of Dharma so that the Animals may learn the Dharma in their future lives and the people who help the animals will have the merits to learn the Dharma in this life and the future lives that are yet to come. Way to go on the coin toss Uncle Wai Meng.
Dear Rinpoche,
I saw the video and how you broke down at the mentioned of Sara. I am actually afraid of dogs but since joining Kechara and listening to your talks on animals, I have consciously try to overcome my fear and with the help of my sister-in-law is looking after 2 abandoned dogs.
I would like to contribute RM1000/- to KAS. I know its very inadequate but I will try to get more contributions to help realised Rinpoche’s dreams.

Dear Rinpoche,
Go ahead with KSA plan all your students will support you.we will do whatever to make it happen. A lot of poor animals out there really need our help.
Dear Rinpoche,
Please let me know the amount you need.I have an investor who are looking for investment. It is ranging from RM5 Million onwards.
Dear Rinpoche,
Please do not be emotionally disturbed. Instead of taking on the financial burden (e.g. loan) upon yourself/Kechara, I am sure you’ll agree that there are more ways to accomplish the same result. Low Kim Tan (above) has given you a feasible alternative solution from a potential investor. There are even others – leveraging on willing sponsors, RSPCAs, conglomerate of vetinerants who are willing to come to gether to build the sanctuary, etc. I think what is needed now is to get a few project leaderts to spear head the project from start through to securing the financial resources (other than taking up a loan) right up to construction and commissioning. It can be done. What is now needed is the human resource to get it started. What you want to see is that the animals are being looked after. Who owns the sanctuary wouldn’t matter would it?
