This episode of “Ancient Aliens – Closer Encounters” takes an interesting look at historical evidence of close encounters with Aliens and the changing references to them.
The beginning of the episode focuses on the first atomic bomb detonation on earth, well, at least the first filmed, documented and recorded detonation.
Yet if this had previously occured long ago in our human history, what would that mean to what we think is modern day civilization?
If this had happened even before the earliest civilizations, doesn’t that mean that the technology we have today has been on Earth before? And just how did this technology arrive on Earth so long ago? It all points to something outside of this world, which says over and over again that we are not alone.
The ancient Hindu texts of the Mahabharata (400 B.C.) and the Bhagavad Gita (3000 B.C.) were written well before the earliest civilisation. They tell of battles similar to modern day warfare, such as flying chariots, huge explosions, and the “Brahma Weapon” whose description is eerily similar to atomic bombs. “Many people singed, burned and melted by the Brahma weapon”. “Explosions brighter than 1000 suns, fire that twirled up in the air, trees that went up in flames.” Those that survived the Brahma weapon began to lose their hair and their nails fell out. All these are symptoms of radiation sickness.
If there were battles that involved atomic weapons, wouldn’t archaeologists be finding the evidence today?
In 1922, Mohenjo-daro (mound of the dead) was discovered in the Indus valley, Pakistan. Dated about 2600-1900 B.C, this is an interesting site because it was suggested that the town was deserted due to decreased trade. However, they found 44 skeletons lying holding hands, untouched even by animals. Even more compelling is these remains never decayed, and had high readings of radiation. More evidence pointing to what seems to be an atomic blast are signs of vitrification. This is where stone is exposed to such intense heat that it becomes molten then re-solidifies into a glass-like texture. There aren’t many sources of extreme heat – one such source is an atomic blast…
The Book of Genesis also has strange occurrences masquerading as acts of god. Was the destruction of Sodom and Gomorah by atomic bombs? How was Lot’s wife turned into a pillar of salt? Was the immaculate conception of Noah done by artificial insemination? Was Noah’s ark really a DNA bank for repopulating the world with a genetically modified superior race of humans?
Over time, as we get deeper into the 21st century, the references to God become less and we head towards unexplained phenomenon. Encounters with strange beings and sightings of mysterious objects in the sky have been recorded. The log from Christopher Columbus’ first voyage to America contains a report of strange lights in the sky. Medieval art shows disc-shaped objects floating in the heavens. Sightings of flying cigar-shaped crafts were reported during the Black Plague. And there were even discussions of extraterrestrial life among America’s Founding Fathers. Even the American Indians have recorded encounters with people from the heavens.
All these sightings come from every part of the world, from our ancient past up to present day. Could aliens have been with us all along?

I had never been interested in crop circles + aliens, until I read what you written -now I’m curious : )
It’s quite amazing that the way the battles were described it resembles today’s modern day nuclear warfare. Though its describe in flowery historical terms, I guess if you didn’t have words for modern weapons or people that come from the sky you would talk that way too.
