I am seriously considering a new category here on my blog which is on the PARANORMAL.
I am a Buddhist monk/teacher, but I have other interests also. I have a wide field of interests and just like everyone else why not share and connect?? I am allowed to have other interests…..LOL..
I have a few supernatural encounters to share on this too…
I have always loved this subject… I wish to have ppl interviewed and put their interviews in this section of my blog to talk about their experiences to share with everyone else..This has been done before but so what? There are always new encounters and new experiences to share….Ppl can also send in transcripts or pictures to share that I post up on my blog..it could reach more ppl this way….ghost stories, scary supernatural encounters, haunted places, mysterious beings, premonitions, dreams that came true, etc etc….thinking about this….What does everyone think about starting a PARANORMAL SECTION on my blog and ppl can send in information, tapes and pictures from all around the world and I can post it up here??
Leave me your thoughts in the comments section…I am very interested to know…Would you share your true stories? Would you like to help other ppl understand better with what they went through by your sharing? Would you be embarassed to share your mystery story? Do you want to listen to other ppl’s paranormal experiences? Do you have a story to share? Pictures? Do you want to send in your video for me to vlog for you? Would you like to be vlogged? Share your transcripts so you can get it off your chest? Would you like to interact with other ppl and have their thoughts on your experiences maybe even communicate/connect with them???

But I always believe there is a logical explanation to it…just my normal eye cannot see yet !!!

I’d think a category dissecting the paranormal myths would be great– while at the same time promoting some aspects of parapsychology.

Definitely a GO for me because this subject interest me a lot. Especially E.T./UFOs. It is merely labeled ‘paranormal’ because of our non-understanding of this subject.
I believe their existence is much more earlier then us or the existence of different realm and time which overlapped on certain times.
Personally i do not have any 1st hand experience but have heard a few from close friends and relatives. Let’s start the new Category!

I think that this would be a great idea.
I hope that I am remembering correctly–H.H. the Dalai Lama said in one of his science books,” As humans we can only see 5% of our enviroment. The other 95% we cannot see. The 95% influences us as human beings. We can barely influence the 95%.” This seems pretty scary. I am grateful that I know lamas that can apease all of the spirits that are around us all the time.
In universal content the ‘paranormal’is normal. Natural.
I had graduate courses in stuff like UFO’s and witchcraft, so I’m obviously interested, even though I tend to be skeptical about the woo-woo stuff. If Rinpoche would be willing to show off his purported psychic powers, in order to illuminate the question of whether they exist, so much the better!

I love this idea, how fun and interesting and since I live in one of the “most haunted” cities in the USA, I have some stories and photos to share.
Thank you, Rinpoche for coming up with a very good idea to allow ppl an opportunity to share their own experiences with others. As I was growing up and of today, my mother and my aunt who are still living continue to tell us their encountered experiences with the super natural world whenever that subject came up during our family reunions.

I fully support your move to bringing/ highlighting on the subjects of paranormal, ghost and supernatural encounters, mysterious beings, premonitions and dreams that came true. Reasons being to that I, personally have experience most of the above mentioned one way or the other (nothing proud). For the ‘good warnings’ I thank thee, Other than those…one can say it’s ‘Breath-taking’ or ‘Life-taking’.
I have so many to say, yet don’t know where to start. It’s hard to talk to friends or even relatives on these issues. Coz even I, too find it hard to believe. How can one of me experience so many encounters in the whole. One month before my first visit to Kechara house, I experieced OBE (Out-of-body experience). It really scared the hell of me. Waking up in cold sweat and also thanking that I manage to wake up at all. Even the thought of coming to Kechara and even watching your Revisited DVD, I was like sort of ‘warned’. Hard to believe I know.
Anyways, I’ve since been receiting Lord Setrap’s mantra, and it helps.
ANd so,Rinpoche, I really would like to see that the Praanormal section be bought up for peoples awareness, and one day with solution as well. Cos for me, it is not an interest, but an actual ‘unexplained’ fact.

local library when I was younger. . but I haven’t thought about
this sort of thing for years – would love to hear other people’s

Personally i think it would be a really good idea to help dispel the fear of the unknown from people and allow them to develop compassion/equanimity towards them thru understanding. It would also be great to help those who have problems with these beings — simply due to lack of understanding!

Personally, when i was young (abt 9), I encountered a ‘being’ that’s not of this world. Can’t really remember the full detail but i did tell my dad about the encounter… he sold the house after that… haha!
My dad on the other hand… had quite a few encounters. He told me stories about his younger days when his family used to live in a haunted house which they rented. The house used to be the Japanese HQ during the invasion of Malaya, where they used to decapitate people… creepy…
Should I add that ‘Supernatural’ is my favourite TV series? Well, at least up to season 3 (season 5 was… bleh)

Rinpoche, its a wonderful idea that will draw a lot of attention and participation. It adds a very new dimension to the blog.
Also, it good to openly discuss paranormal and supernatural matters because it acknowledges that we are “not alone” and there is much for us to be aware of, especially other beings and realms.

I think this is such a great idea! Many people out there loves paranormal and ghost stories etc., the subject itself is of great interests, and on top of that, many would like to know whether there are explanations behind certain phenomena.
As Rinpoche is an avid lover of the paranormal, Rinpoche definitely can enlighten us with Rinpoche’s thoughts and it is a good place for others to discuss about this and find “explanations” together

When i was young i used to cut articles in the NST about UFO, i said i will only believe if i see one with my own 2 eyes,in 1983 i was studying in Bendigo,Vic,Australia around month August, for a about 1 week there was a few UFO sightings and was reported in the Bendigo Advertiser the local newspaper
1. my classmate Ms Chan & her fren saw 2 UFO in the sky while walking back from campus around 430pm
2. 1 early morning, my australian fren David Warboys & myself saw a Sorcerer above our 8 storey main campus building, it was a round object make of special alloy material grey & non reflective in color
3. it was stationary for abt 60 seconds make no sound got a lighted cockpit on top, got 3 lights in a triangle position on the bottom section of the object
4.it then moves away very fast with no sound like what we saw in Tv UFO movie, we believe it travel using magnetic waves with a very advance technology or perhaps we can SEE the future technology manifest infront of our eyes ???

When I was younger, I used to go ballistic at the stroke of midnight. I remember I used to run around the entire house being afraid of something that I can no longer recall. But I still remember that no matter how hard my parents tried to hold me down they couldn’t. I would just run, run, run and scream, scream, scream. Thinking about it now, I could’ve been possessed.
My parents then brought me to a temple for consultation. It was said that I have a third eye. Does a third eye really exist?

Such a category will attract lots of people to your blog and in the process have opportunity to access all the wonderful and beneficial links/articles in it.
It will increase understanding and conviction into existence of subtle form beings and help students’ and practicioners’ meditation on the sufferings of lower realms and how to avoid going there in our next rebirth.

It is a good to start this new section, as it will helps ppl to share their experiences/encounter. I like to watch ” Physcic Kids” on Bio Channel in Astro, (like you have feature in yr blog too) and these kids have gone thru a lot of kiosk in their life and some have also affected their studies and their sosial life. Their parents too did not know how to deal with this encounters and is also tramautised. The parents feel helpless and they seek the help of the Physcic Man and Woman to help their kids. When they go thru the therapy in groups, these children/teenager knows that they are not alone and not weird to hve this senses. After the therapy, thye become good friends. Some of the kids also knows that they can use this ability to help spirits and ghost which is lost.
What i really have in mind, yes this will be beneficial to ppl who have this encounters and have this avenue to express their fear and experiences, and knowing that it is fine and there is ways to able to prevent it from happening in future.

It is a great idea indeed…my favourite subject is on the paranormal stuff…as i have the ability of clairsentience….i now can feel the emotions of people around me…some people may think i’m an outcast…but i’m the only one who knows the truth…and God knows it too..i haven’t fully develop my ability but hopefully i will one day…i’m also very interested in Dharma Teachings as I feel i have a purpose on Earth becos I know i am not from this earth and i have been given insights on my life on earth and in heaven…ok take care dear Rinpoche! and May God Bless you!

It is a fascinanting subject if it is related to our pratice otherwise i feel strange, little scary… i was so close to death many times…even a plane crash in amazonia… but as much i feel
scary o do feel orageous at the same time… somehow inside Vajrayogini practice i feel protected. I wish sooo much to learn the paranormal subject related to VY with you, wish to have the merit and the right seed to ask you this.
I had in my life a few experiences as i used to faint and had an accident in a waterfall. So, during fainting i was sure that to die was great because the pleasures and lights were unbitable beuatiful… it was very dificult to come back to ppls calls cause what i saw somehow was greater.
When i fell down from a waterfall 17 metters high i was hold by the force of its water under the water until i started to see even brighter lights and stop to try to come to the surface… when i surrendered and accepted dieing … what looked like a “beautiful person” pushed me up and uper and i survived…when everyone was saying that would be impossible… i just got a penumonia and lost the smell sense for 6 months …
Well Rinpoche, i dont really know how paranormal is all that…i was in a death situation many times but sure i had and have an “angel” that looks after me…
sometime until now i feel like fainting… my homeopthic doctor says i am a sulphur one and thats why i faint… anyway he says my karmic seeds trigger it… as we know. Is there any paranormal reason for that?
I am a Vajrayogini practioner since 2000, got 9 initiations already with Lama Gangchen Rinpoche and Lama Khannyen Lhamo Caroline.

I do think that this new category, Paranormal, will be a wonderful addition to your blog and it will reach out to a wider range of audiences. It might even create some faith in people about religion as a lot of people always have questions at the back of their mind on the supernatural, but do not express it. I’m personally a super chicken when it comes to this topic especially on ghost stories, but Sharon once told me that if we really examine and question ourselves why we’re scared, it’ll come down to the self-cherishing mind, as we are afraid that we’ll get harmed. I find it so true..ahh, how the Dharma makes so much sense in all aspects of life. Although I am not as scared anymore, I still am, but I think that if there is a place where everyone can share their stories, it’ll serve as a hub to stabilize our own minds, and to re-assure us that we’re not alone, in this world or in our experiences. It’ll attract so many people who are interested in these stories if there is one portal, to collaborate stories from all around the world. How exciting!!

Dear Rinpoche, even before I can comment on this interesrting subject. There were so many excited people already commented with the answer yes it is very good that you should start this special paranormal vloging, especially when there are videos involved. This will definitely be a success and will also be the gateway for a lot of people all over the world to know you and KH. It will be easier to bring Dharma to a lot of people too. I don’t know whether this dream I had is paranormal. I had this dream of going to a temple to pray. Before entering I had notice two snow lions one on each side of the entrance. A nun in grey came out to greet us. I remember the whole environment very well and very clearly especially the nun in grey. A week later a friend brought me to a Kuan Yin Temple which had just been built. I was so surprised and shocked that everything in my dream was exactly what I am seeing at that moment. Even the nun in grey. Can this be paranormal?

I never sow UFO`s or anything like that but I had one interesting experience when I was about 9 or 10. I was watching TV with my mom in one room and then we heard something smashing in the other room of the apartment. When we went there to see what it was we noticed the bottle that was supposed to sit on the table in the middle of the room was smashed down like something throw it down. Nobody except me and my mom were in the apartment, the door and windows were locked, we had no animals back then and we don`t live next to the road (so that vibrations of big cars could make the bottle fall down). There is no logical explanation that I could find until now…maybe some spirit accidentally entered the wrong apartment
Also something less interesting: when my father died I had many dreams of my close relatives dieing; sometimes I was attending there funerals (including my own). But that was probably connected to my fear of death that I had then. Actually i was dreaming my mom`s funeral a few weeks before my father died and the rest after his death. This is less interesting because I have a lot of strange dreams, and also ocasional sleep paralysis.
