Anila & Uncle Eddie joined the e-savvy generation
Dear Ladrang Liaisons, Yoke Fui & Mr Ngeow,
Rinpoche generously gifted Anila and Uncle Eddie a laptop each tonight, complete with laptop bags, cooling pads, keyboard protection covers and optical mouse.
A bigger laptop with DVD drive for Anila is better for ease of use. It’s the 1st time Uncle Eddie owns a computer and he’s very excited.
Rinpoche wants nothing back, only for them to repay Rinpoche’s kindness with results.
Thank you.
Shin cc Rinpoche
1. Happy recipients of new laptops and all the accessories
2. Anila with her shiny blue laptop & Uncle Eddie with his sleek silver laptop
Anila has been working hard learning how to use the computer and surf the web, in order to share Dharma with others and also to improve her skills. (Read more about: Anila is 68 and Learning Computers!!).
Uncle Eddie too has been volunteering in Kechara House for a few years now and he’s curious to learn more.
These new laptops will come in handy for them to learn more and share Dharma with others via the net.

Anila and Uncle Eddie – two of the nicest people I know in Kechara. Very helpful and dedicated students of Rinpoche. I can imagine both of them taking to the cyber-space like ducklings to water.
Anila and Uncle Eddie are very cute in the pictures, hehe…
Working along side with them, I feel very touched by the determination of them working for Dharma. For people in this age, it’s really disadvantage for them to pick up computer skills and cyber interaction, but they are adapting to it quietly, in order to contribute to Dharma.
I looked at Uncle Eddie patiencely look for the alphabets key one by one from the keyboard, and Anila uses her left hand to handle mouse, and they pay full attention to the laptop screen the whole day in the Ladrang, I solute to them whole heartedly!!
I told Anila that I wish to teach my parents computer too, as it will brings another aspect to their life to learn more. Learning should not stop by aging.
Anila said “I want to learn Facebook” a few days ago, well please get ready to add Anila in Facebook!!
Thanks Rinpoche for taking care of every single person in Kechara and always open paths for people to learn more. With folded hands.
Alrite! I will be ready to add Anila and Uncle Eddie to my FB!
