FOUND SOME OLD KALMYCK FRIENDS
Today was working on facebook and found some old Kalmyck school friends who were signed up as friends and I didn’t even know it. Great to see them again. And signed them up to the newsletter sent from my centre kechara house every week. It gives you updates on what we are doing every week. Alot of exciting news.

There really is plenty of exciting news from Kechara every week. I remember when we didn’t have an e-newsletter, and our quarterly newsletter (no more caves) was just starting out. We had no idea what we were doing, if we could find enough news to populate the pages. We didn’t know how to layout the content, who would write it, who would take the pictures, if anyone would want to read it. Of course unlike us silly students, Rinpoche had none of those doubts…today, it’s not just no more caves that we have, but the Kechara New News e-bulletin. It goes out to thousands every single week – including Rinpoche’s Kalmyck friends! – and is such a pleasure to write for.
Compiling the news reminds me of the activities of the 13 departments, and in turn the amount of hard work that Rinpoche put into establishing Kechara and making her grow…and the continued hard work that Rinpoche and the staff put in to taking Kechara onwards and upwards! That newsletter is our archive for when Kechara grows so big, we’re at KWPC and can look back and reminisce on the good ol’ days
Rinpoche is a very modern lama, using the tools that are provided by today’s technology and adjusting methods to teach the Dharma without compromising it in any way, but using the tools provided today so as to reach many and be efficient in his mission that is to create strong Dharma awarness where there was none or little before.
In today’s world, internet is the most efficient way to reach many, facebook, twitter, or a blog just as this one. This blog shows how strong Rinpoche’s dedication to spread the Dharma is, one can see that despites his many commitments, he still make the time to not only blog but also reply to the comments his posts generate and nurture the new people that are able to connect with him through this blog. What’s more, Rinpoche is also on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/tsemtulku, and he is also on twitter at http://twitter.com/tsemtulku
Thank you Rinpoche for reaching out to us.
In the modern days now, having a Computor and knowing how to master it is very important and useful. It has help to trace and found his Kalmyck school friends through the face book. So that Rinpoche is also able to introduce his friends and link them up with Kechara House by arranging newsletters to be sent to them. Rinpoche will be able to also trace more relatives and friends and bring them into Dharma. With a computor on line Rinpoche’s students can also help in research looking for more of Rinpoche’s relatives and friends that can give him more info to making Rinpoche’s Bio and Movie a success.
Who knew this was the beginning of Rinpoche connecting with many Kalmyk friends and eventually sending a team to the United States, to do research on Rinpoche’s childhood? It was a three-week whirlwind research trip from the East Coast to the West Coast, and a lot of eye-opening moments. I’ve known Rinpoche since I was about 10 and in that time, Rinpoche has not changed at all… going to the United States, I saw that even from childhood, Rinpoche has always been the kind, compassionate person driven to benefit others and study the Dharma.
